Khairul Anuar Mat Said is currently a PhD student in School of Microelectronic Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis. He has his B.Eng. (Honours) in Electronic Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Perlis in 2014. From June 2013 to September 2013, he served Fuji Electric Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn. Maziidah Mukhtar Ahmad has been a PhD student at the School of Microelectronic Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, since January 2014. She graduated with a B.Eng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering and worked in the telecommunications sector in 2012. Mohd Haidar Hamzah has a BEng degree from the University Technology Mara (UiTM), Malaysia, and an MSc from the University Technology Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. From 2007 to 2012, he worked as a hardware validation engineer and physical layout design engineer at Intel Malaysia. He was a CAD senior engineer in Design Technology Group, SilTerra Malaysia from 2012 to 2013. He is currently doing a PhD at the School of Microelectronic Engineering, University Malaysia Perlis. His research interests include low-power analogue and mixed-signal design for intelligent sensor circuits. | |
Muhammad Nur Afnan Bin Uda is a PhD candidate in Microelectronic Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). Wang Hang Suan is graduated with B.Eng (Hons.) Electronic Engineering from University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) in 2016. Currently, he is continuing his M.Sc in the same university. He previously did his internship at Inari Sdn Bhd, and was responsible to help engineer to setup an electronic test machine (ATE). | Cheong Seong Chee is currently working as a System Validation Engineer at the Intel Penang Design Center . He has been pursuing his part-time postgraduate study at the School of Microelectronics Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, since 2011. He attained his Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree (B.Eng) at Universiti Malaysia Perlis in 2010. He formerly interned at the Intel Penang Design Center as a Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer in 2008. In 2010, he worked for the NCS Information System outsourcing company as a contract worker at the Intel Penang Design Center as a Compatibility Validation Engineer. His research interests include low power system-on-chip architecture for video compression. |
| Nor Alina Khairi has been a postgraduate student in Microelectronic Engineering at the School of Microelectronic Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, since October 2011. She graduated from Universiti Malaysia Perlis with a B.Eng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering in 2011. She was a trainee in the R&D Department at S&O Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Sharp-Roxy Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd.) from December 2009 until May 2010 for her internship programme. Her current research project is designing an efficient Huffman data compression architecture sfor wireless sensor nodes. |
| Yee Chang Fei obtained Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Degree in Multimedia University in 2006. Since then he worked as Hardware Design Engineer in Keysight Tech. (formerly known as Agilent EMG). He has experience in embedded digital design, high speed backplane board design, signal and power integrity analysis, jitter/phase noise analysis and EMI troubleshooting. In 2015, he starts off with research work of high speed signal integrity analysis in UniMAP. |
Ooi Chip Pin graduated with a B.Eng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering and worked for Fuji Electric (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd in 2010. | Sundar Raj Senthil Kumar is currently doing a PhD in the area of VLSI at the School of Microelectronics Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis. He completed both his Bsc and Msc at Bharathidasan University, India. He also completed his M.Tech at the National Institute of Technology (formerly known as the Regional Engineering College) in India. From 2000 to 2010, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing and Information Technology, INTI International University (formerly known as INTI University College) Nilai, Malaysia. Currently, he is undertaking research into efficient power consumption and speed optimization for ALUs at the circuit and algorithm level. |

Nasharul Hisham was a research assistant at the School of Microelectronics Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, from 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronics Engineering from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia. He has been working for several companies such as EDS Shell, Cyberjaya in 2009 and Kilang Gula Felda Perlis in December 2010 as a System Engineer. His research interest is designing a power management circuit for a microsystem device. | |
Siti Nurhanani Che Yahaya was a research assistant at Universiti Malaysia Perlis in 2012. She was working on a project about optimized power management generated by energy harvested from vibration in microsystems. She obtained a Bachelor degree in Microelectronic Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Perlis from 2007 until 2011. For her final year project she researched the optimum gate size in order to get the fastest circuit in terms of output propagation by using the logical effort method. From December 2009 to May 2010 she was involved in an internship programme as a trainee at Malaysia Microelectronic Solutions Sdn Bhd, Cyberjaya, and contributed in applications development by using VB software. |
